Well, the stitches come out in a week and all is well...oh wait, I guess I should back up a step, huh? Last week, one of my coworkers comes up and looks nervous and out of breath and says "I've been looking everywhere for you!" My mind goes blank...oh no, I think. She continues, "Your mom called and N fell down and needs stitches." AACK!! N is my 9-year old. Yes, he's nine, but he's still my one and only and I went into instant panic! Aside from the fact that I've had about 8 million stitches, I still panicked! So after playing phone tag with
conference calls suck...If you are leading the call, I guess that gives you something to do, but if you are just listening to everyone else bat ideas around (with occaisonal input from you) it can be bad. So bad, in fact that you post about it on your blog while you are still in the conference...AAACK! :)
I have fallen so far behind in my “Lost” updates that I now have two episodes to catch up with…I think for the sake of time I will assume that you all saw the episode where Locke helped Charlie battle his drug addiction, (and is it just me or is Locke becoming a bit intense and creepy?), Jack is trapped in a cave-in, and as a cliffhanger, someone bonks Sayid in the head…The writers have done a pretty good job of keeping me interested so far…only giving out a few details about the island, and focusing on one character at a time to expand upon…it’s definitely keeping me watching…The website has some pretty detailed episode guides if you’re interested. This new job is really keeping me hopping, and once I’m home I hate to get on the computer since I’ve been doing it all day! I’d like to have my basic descriptions continue, though and look forward to hearing your comments about the show! So last night’s episode focused on Sawyer (not his name, we now know…) and gave us ladies a nice shot of him walking out after a swim…I wish there were barbers on the deserted island, not being a fan of the long hair and beard…but that was a nice view all the same…we get some insight into the letter he’s been reading throughout, also…Along the way, he is tortured by Sayid (I thought this went a little too far) for hoarding things from the plane, steals a scene from “Kiss Me, Kate” J and is stabbed in the arm by an enraged Sayid…but turns out ok, albeit still angry, in the end. There were also some scenes with Charlie and Claire that were sweet…they would make a cute couple if the castaways start pairing off…Let me know you’re thought on all this and I will try not to let so much time go before checking in again!
